Me and Dave have shot many times over the last couple of years so this is a long overdue reference. We always work very well together and Dave makes a shoot day very easy going, drives me to whatever location we've decided on and let's me come up with ideas while also inputting with his own creative ideas on the day.

Technically Dave knows exactly how to work lighting and his camera to achieve the styles desired for the images and he's constantly adding new tech to his collection.

Images on the back of the camera are always fab and Dave is super generous with edits he sends over. He's safe, turns up on time and makes the shoot feel comfortable throughout.

I mean, what can I say about Dave that I and, all models havent said already.

As my first shoot back since being pregnant and, having a long break from the industry. I was lucky that Dave was my first shoot back.

He makes me feel incredibly comfortable. He took things slow for me and, we ended up with so many gorgeous shots. The king of monochrome if i do say so myself!

He has all the gear... and, ALL the idea! A very smart man that makes a shoot easy, and, enjoyable.

I get on with dave well and we have a good giggle whilst getting creative.

He is sweet, kind, caring, easygoing and, above all a very talented photographer that is keen on improving his skills. This shows in his ongoing work.

I am excited to shoot with him again when my baby bump is big and, beautiful and, always excited to receive edits.

I have known Dave since 23years old... I am 32 years old now. So, he has seen and, been there for me at different points in my life. I have been able to see his knowledge and talent grow & i am just happy I can continue to see this.

This was my third shoot with Dave and I am already looking forward to the fourth....!!!! This time Dave got in touch with some ideas around a 'food' based shoot, and of course I was absolutely up for that!!! We shared some reference images between us and knew we had a lot to look forward to!!

On the day, Dave arrived on time and we had a good natter and catch up about anything and everything before starting the shoot.

The shoot went something like..... Death by cherrios..... followed by engulfing a foot high stack of waffles and honey.... and finished off with a Biscoff extravaganza... Including Biscoff biscuits ... sauce.... and a 3kg tub of spread.....!! Needless to say, this was probably one of the messiest shoots I had done but also one of the most fun!!!! We laughed throughout and Dave captured so many epic images I cannot wait to see them!!!

Dave is always respectful and I thoroughly enjoy working with him. I would of course highly recommend him and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you Dave!!

I had a chance to work with the lovely Dave at a redrum event and im so glad I did. Dave was kind, open, friendly and supportive throughout the shoot. I had alot of anxiety but Dave made the shoot together very easy and gave great direction and new exactly what he wanted to create. He was ready to shoot throughout the day and was in high demand! He stayed calm, cool and collected throughout and nothing was too much for him it was great to see. He was kind enough to show back of camera throughout our time shooting together which I love and loved so many images that I saw so im super excited to see the end results.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Dave during a redrum events in Swindon! We shot a variety of ideas during the day and in the final 15 minutes we pulled off the best set I could have imagined for the day! We got on well and our personalities clicked extremely well. He made me feel at ease the whole time, even when the smoke machine wasn't playing ball.

Dave joined us for 5 days in Fuerteventura last month, from the moment he booked on he was full of excitement and creative suggestions,

We had a jam packed week of shoots and Dave came equipped ready for every situation and was on hand to lend others his gear! Which was so kind!

Just had the best time shooting with Dave on a photography trip run by Redrum events, when I booked on last minute I was so excited to hear that Dave was going as we have now worked together quite a lot since I did my first shoot with him when I joined Purpleport and I would consider him a friend as well as someone I work with.

As usual Dave made me feel comfortable and we instantly had a lot of creative ideas we wanted to shoot, the excitement levels were high and on arrival we did a quick out of schedule shoot during sunset hours with a gorgeous mountain backdrop that really just kicked off the whole trip for me.

I was lucky to shoot with Dave lots during the trip and every time we got beautiful images! We work so well together and Dave makes the whole shoot fun and the creative ideas are always bouncing.

Dave is a really kind person and he volunteered to drive for the whole trip which is no simple task with driving on the opposite side with a car full of noisy models but he managed it all and didn’t once complain.

I shot sets that are a real step up for me and I’m so proud of everything we achieved, definitely some of my best images to date and a dream to shoot abroad, Dave took all my ideas on board and we finished off the trip with a final shoot together which I can’t even believe is me when I look at the images and it’s all down to Dave taking my ideas and using his knowledge of photography to help me achieve them.

Would shoot with Dave any time and can’t wait to start posting photos from this trip. Highly recommend as usual

Dave responded to a last minute casting that I had put out for this last weekend and I am so pleased he did!!! We have now met around 4 times but this was only our second shoot and the results.... Well.... INSANE!! If I might say so myself!!

All pre comms with Dave were great and we absolutely knew the sort of images we wanted to achieve. Dave arrived on time on the day and we had a chat and a catch up over a cuppa before beginning the shoot, starting off with a 'Peter Coulson' inspired look on a white back drop. We then worked through some more quirky and quite frankly ridiculous ideas with a very special cameo appearance (more on that later...!) ... and finished off with some low key tasteful nude work. Dave worked non stop throughout the shoot to capture loads of incredible images and he was happy for me to review the images as we went.

I had edits sent my way that evening and I can honestly say I was thrilled with the results!! Dave is kind, funny and a lot of fun to work with, completely respectful of me and my location and produces quality images. I would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him again soon! Thank you Dave!!

Dave came back to Basford Hurst Cottage this December and this time he came to shoot with the delightful Georgia Mae.

All pre comms with Dave were great and he arrived with Georgia on time with everything he needed for a great shoot. It was lovely to see some of the images that he and Georgia were creating together and needless to say the edits have come out amazing!!

Dave is always a pleasure to host here at Basford, he is friendly, fun to have around and we would highly reccomend him! Thank you Dave and looking forward to seeing you again soon!!

I met and shot with Dave for the first time for a group shoot at Gods Own Junkyard in London, and he was so kind as to give myself and another model a lift there and back, which I am super grateful for.

He seemed very confident with his camera and I felt I could communicate openly with him while we were shooting. I’m very happy with the photos we got together and would happily work with Dave again! :)

I was lucky to shoot with Dave at God's Own Junkyard. It was so nice to work with him and got some great images back. I hope to work with him soon as he is so easy to get along with and super sweet. He was helpful as I am fairly new, which made the shoot go really smoothly. We didn't shoot for very long but I would definitely recommend!

Worked with Dave twice already, both times at group shoots. He really made me feel at easy and we had lots of fun shooting together. The first time he had a whole set of super amazing and professional lights that add a lot to the atmosphere and the pics. Very open to ideas, suggestions and such an easy going dude. Would shoot with him again and I recommend him very much!
