Copyright and image licensing
Unless expressly stated otherwise, photographs, text, graphics and branding on this website are owned by Dave Lynes Photography or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
- Displaying an image in the public gallery does not grant permission to copy, download, reproduce, modify, publish or distribute it.
- Personal or commercial use requires prior written permission or an appropriate licence.
- Client usage rights are governed by the agreement supplied for the relevant commission or image licence.
- Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Image publishing
Image-upload and gallery-management tools are private administrative facilities operated solely by Dave Lynes Photography. Website visitors, clients and other members of the public cannot submit or upload images.
Images selected by Dave Lynes Photography may be processed into display-sized versions and thumbnails before being published in the public gallery. Publication does not transfer ownership or grant visitors a licence to reuse the images.

Information collected
When you submit an enquiry, I collect your name, message and whichever contact details you choose to provide. Technical information such as an IP address may also be processed temporarily for security, rate limiting and service operation.
Why it is used
Enquiry information is used to read and respond to your message, discuss requested services, take steps connected with a potential booking, maintain service security and meet applicable legal obligations. Depending on the context, this processing is based on legitimate interests, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, or legal obligations.
Recipients and retention
Contact submissions are delivered through the website’s hosting and email providers to nominated Dave Lynes Photography mailboxes. Information is not sold. It is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, administer any resulting relationship, meet legal or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact me to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
